Another great Portrait Creator update you’ll love!

I’m so thrilled to finally complete the latest update to The Personalised Portrait Creator!

Over the past 6 months, my list of possible additions to the kit has been growing and growing. All based on your recommendations and requests. As much as I’d love to accommodate everyone, unfortunately I had to priortise in order to complete the update in a reasonable time frame. I chose the most requested items to work on, so I’m sure you’ll be happy with the new goodies!

One of the top requests was alternative body shapes for the woman and man. I’m pleased to say I managed to add two new body shapes for both adults!

There’s also a little toddler in a stroller with some cute accessories. Easily change the gender by choosing a girl or boy hairstyle.

You’ll also notice that Gran and Grandpa have joined the family! Plus I’ve made sure you can customise the amount of wrinkles you want to show which controls the age even more.

Best part?

All this is free to existing customers of the kit! To access the update, simply re-download your purchase from your account page here on my website. Or if you bought it from one of my other online shops, simply re-download the product from your account on the other sites.

If you haven’t bought your copy yet, pop over here to grab the kit and join the portrait creator fun!

Love the updates! After doing 63 members of my extended family, I have a couple of HUGE suggestions though…
The necks on the men are WAY too small. I’ve had to widen every guy in my family, otherwise they look like prepubescent boys. Even (especially) the new athletic build.
I had to do a lot of altering on many of the women too, because while you have wider waists, you have nothing for a square-shaped woman, or a woman who isn’t particularly large on bottom but has a large chest, or even a large woman with a large chest (body shapes are all over the map in my family so I experienced the whole gamut).
You probably can’t create EVERY body type, so what I noticed would make altering them ourselves much easier is if the heads were a separate layer. I had to separate the heads on several, allowing me to widen the body and/or move the heads down (many people have short necks).
    It was very time consuming!
Still, I loved the project and it turned out so well! Thank you for all of your hard work!

      Hi Tatiana,

Thank you so much for your comments and feedback, I always appreciate hearing back from customers. I’ll add your suggestions to my ever-growing list of requests for possible inclusion in the future – I try and include the most requested items in the upcoming updates.

As much as I would love to be able to provide a body shape and neck proportions for every possible shape, as a one woman show it’s unfortunately not possible given how time consuming it is to create each complex character. But instead I created the Personalised Portrait Creator so anyone can create a hand drawn portrait illustration with whimsical features and outfits that will be a general likeness to the person and hope to make it possible for anyone to enjoy the delight in building a character that resembles someone they love in a super affordable way.

I’m delighted you have already created 63 portraits with the kit! Thank you again for your valuable feedback and lovely comments, it’s much appreciated!
