Character Drawing Challenge #22: Weird dude

This character was based on an actual guy I saw walking down the street a few weeks back. It’s mid summer here but he was wearing a wonky top hat and a long coat and he had the strangest strut. He looked like he stepped out of some dark alley from the 1800s! Super weird!

Each week I’ll be creating a character using one of my Character Drawing Toolkits. If you’re looking to improve your drawing skills I encourage you to join in the challenge and commit to one character drawing each week.

You’re welcome to recreate my character as a practice round, or challenge yourself to create your own!
The idea is to stretch your imagination, draw without judgement, improve your skills and, most of all, have fun!

Below is a breakdown of the Toolkit I used, the final character I created and the shape I used to achieve it. Feel free to pin it for later!

Shape I used from the Character Drawing Toolkit People Edition: Combo: Hunched.

Brushes used to apply colour: Plush Pencil & Dry Media brushes / I used one of the paper textures included in the Plush Pencil & Dry Media Collection

Don’t forget to tag me or use the hashtag #letsdrawlisaglanz, can’t wait to see what you draw!
