Hi Lisa! I bought both portrait creator, pregnant, and baby creator! All of them are amazing.
Thank you so much for creating these. I wonder, is there any specific date or time interval for the next update for the Portrait Creator? Thanks a lot. 🙂
Karin (verified owner) –
Love them, and would love to see being able to have holding arms on all the people, not just the woman.
Lisa Glanz –
Hi Karin, Thank you so much for your feedback! I’d love to be able to do that, however creating a holding arm for each character is unfortunately super time consuming as a lot of the clothing would need to be redrawn etc, I wish I had a better answer for that . But I will definitely add your suggestion to my list! I might find a quicker workflow one day
Teresa –
Hi, I would buy this at the drop of a hat, it is just what I have been looking for, sadly I only have procreate is there any chance I could use this in procreate? Or would something similar be available in procreate in the future? Thank you, I love your work!
Lisa Glanz –
Hi Teresa,
Thank you so much for your interest in my product! Unfortunately the Portrait Creator is far too complex for the limited layers in Procreate. But you can use the Adobe Photoshop version of the Portrait Creator in a free online app called Photopea.com which is very similar to Adobe Photoshop. Hope that helps!
Jacecorecha (verified owner) –
Lisa Glanz –
Thank you so much for your lovely review! And thank you for confirming that you have no problems using the files in Affinity! So glad you are enjoying the collection and finding it easy to use. Although the kit doesn’t include a mini Schnauzer it does include a terrier that you can use as a base and add markings to, if you use the Adobe Illustrator files for the pets, you can make adjustments to each layer if needed. Hope that helps!
Anjani –
Hi Lisa! I’ve purchased the license version for this. However, I do realize that i is lacking the clothes for Muslim women. I wonder if it is okay for me to draw over the existing clothes? and may I know the brush are you using to create the clothes and hair? if you are okay with me asking. Thanks and I love this so much!
Lisa Glanz –
Hi Anjani, Thank you so much for your purchase, it’s much appreciated! I try and include a variety of styles of clothing (like long sleeves, pants and long dresses) but I don’t unfortunately add any traditional cultural items. But you are of course very welcome to add your own touches and items to suit your project. I used a pencil on paper, then scanned each item in to vectorise etc. But you could use a dry media brush to mimic the same results. If you’re using Procreate, I recommend a hard edge dry media brush to create a similar look. Hope that helps!
jennifer –
Any chance that upcoming updates will include ducks?! I need this for gifts for all my farm friends but there’s not any ducks yet 🙁 LOL
Lisa Glanz –
Hi Jennifer,
I’ll definitely add your duck suggestion to my list! Unfortunately I can’t say for sure if there will be ducks added, I work on the most requested items first (so far ducks haven’t been requested yet I’m afraid). But I will definitely add it to the list for sure
alessandra –
Hi Lisa ! I’ve purchased this product on Design Cuts. Is there a way to get the updated version for free ? I can provide you with the Invoice I’ve got on 31/05/2019 from them. Thank you in advance ! Alessandra
Lisa Glanz –
Hi Alessandra,
You definitely have free access to the updates if you bought the Portrait Creator from Design Cuts marketplace (please note that if you bought the kit via a bundle, accessing the update is slightly different – let me know if you did and I’ll send you more info).
You can access your purchases and the latest product files anytime from your account by re-downloading the product files again.
Make sure you’re signed in to your account, then navigate to your account Downloads and re-download the zip file again.
Hope that answers your question. If you have any other questions at all, please don’t hesitate to let me know.
Julia Gallacher (verified owner) –
Hi Lisa,
I just had to send you a message to thank you for this fabulous product! I’ve had my little Etsy business for over a year, selling literary art prints (mostly text art), and this has enabled me to add a whole new dimension by making beautiful illustrations of customers (obviously within the license rules) – and they are SO loved, especially at a time like this, when people can use a bit of cheering up. So, thank you for a truly magical product, it’s flawless and brilliant, and you should be SO proud.
Lisa Glanz –
Hi Julia,
You have no idea how much this made my day! Thank you SO much for your lovely kind message, I really appreciate it. I’m so glad the kit has helped your business and that your customers are loving your creations, that’s amazing! Thank you Julia for taking the time to tell someone you appreciate their work, it means the world xx
adriana –
Hi Lisa, i have wrote to you in a private message, hope you can read it. Thanks.
Lisa Glanz –
Hi Adriana, I’ve popped you an email 🙂
adriana –
hi, thanks for tour answer. So, I´m so in this idea! however, i´m not quite good in psd, in fact, I even don´t remember how to use it, nevertheless, I´m a beginner in illustrator. So, can I work on illustrator, or even better, you you have some kind of detailed video where I can learn how to create my portrait from zero knowledge in psd? Thanks in advance for your answer. I´m thinking in buying the creator just here in your page, it is possible? or do I have to create an account outside your site to buy it?
Lisa Glanz –
Hi Adriana, I have a tutorial that walks you through the steps of making your first portrait which you can view here. Have a look and see if the steps look easy enough for you, that will give you a good idea of whether you feel you can still work with the kit if you don’t have too much experience with the app – I have been told by absolute beginners that the kit is easy to use 🙂 You can buy the product directly form my website on this product page. Hope that helps!
adrianne –
HI there, presales q: whats the difference btwn standard and extended versions?
Lisa Glanz –
Thank you so much for your interest in my product! There is no difference in the files you’ll receive. The difference in the licences are the amount of end products you may sell, under the Standard Licence it’s 5 000 and under the Extended Licence its 250 000. You can find more on the licence terms here.
Hope that answers your question. If you have any other questions at all, please don’t hesitate to let me know.
Lisa K LaMere –
Okay – I thought this was for Procreate, but from reading other comments – and your responses, I’m guessing I can use this in Photoshop? If so, I’m getting my credit card out now!!
Lisa Glanz –
Hi Lisa,
Yes that’s correct! The Portrait Creator is compatible with Adobe Photoshop. So glad you like the kit. If you decide to purchase it, I hope you enjoy creating your portraits! Pop me a message if you have any other questions at any stage.
Lisa K LaMere –
The Personalized Portrait Creator is a fabulous tool and the options included are exactly what I’m looking for. I ‘d love to buy this even though I don’t have an iPad for Procreate LOL – I use Photoshop. Perhaps in the future the Personalized Portrait Creator will be available for PS. Thanks so much Lisa Glanz – you rock!
Tara Ward –
Love this! I have been busy creating some great portraits. Can you tell me how to create a ponytail for a woman with no bangs? A woman who has asked for a portrait never wears her hair down and she always has it pulled tight back off her face. I can’t see any hairstyles like that in your package. Any tips on how to create this type of look?
Lisa Glanz –
Hi Tara, So glad you are enjoying the kit! You could use a combination of the short hair cut style and the ponytail to the side to achieve that. So move the ponytail part (delete the other area of the hair) to behind the body layer and have it peaking up at the top of the head like a high pony. You may have to use the warp tool to make some adjustments. I’ll definitely add your feedback/suggestion to my wishlist for possible inclusion in the next update 🙂
gnohz –
Sorry, just to add, are there any Smart Objects used in the Portrait Creator?
Just wanted to make sure there are as few possible compatibility issues as possible with Affinity Photo. Thank you!
Lisa Glanz –
There are no smart objects so all the PSD (Adobe Photoshop) files will open up in Affinity Designer to Desktop. Hope that helps! If you have any other questions at all, please don’t hesitate to let me know.
gnohz –
Hi Lisa! I’d like to check, I understand that you can’t confirm if the Portrait Creator can be used for any other software, but just wondering if you have heard from any user whether it can be used in Affinity Photo?
Another thing is, for people who do not have the necessary tools to do so (or don’t know how to), is it at all possible to tweak the designs of the clothes etc?
Thank you so much!
Lisa Glanz –
The great news is it does work with Affinity Designer for Desktop!
It’s important to note though that it will only work with the desktop version of Affinity and not the mobile, and only the Adobe Photoshop files open up perfectly in tact. The Adobe Illustrator files seem to lose the layer names and some items become ungrouped, but the Adobe Photoshop files open perfectly in Affinity.
I created a tutorial on how to change the colour of items and apply patterns to clothing items. You can find it here.
Bianca –
Purchased this amazing product about two months ago. I have created many little family portraits which of course everyone absolutely loves! Patiently waiting for the wedding gown Add-Ons, i cannot wait!!! Love this!
Lisa Glanz –
Hi Bianca! Thank you so much for your purchase, it’s much appreciated. So thrilled that you’ve put the kit to good use already 🙂 I’m hoping to have the wedding dresses done in the next couple of weeks if all goes well x
Melissa (verified owner) –
Completely obsessed!!! At a time when I have had to temporarily close my photo studio due to the world situation this has given me a form of creative expression. It was so easy to use and to customize. I am having so much fun making these for my family and friends. I’m sure I will have the whole collection soon and will keep my eyes open for more add-ons.
Lisa Glanz –
Yay!! Super happy you are enjoying the kit Melissa! I’m truly happy this is helping you during this challenging time and reading that you find the kit easy to use is just the cherry on the cake! I definitely have some plans for add-ons 🙂 Happy creating your portraits.
Mallory –
Hi! Just purchased and downloaded to make something for my grad and it is not showing up in my outfits/accessories/extras. Help!! Where do I find the cap/gown?! Thank you!
Lisa Glanz –
Hi Mallory, Thank you so much for your purchase, it’s much appreciated! I’d be happy to assist you with that 🙂 You can find the gowns in the Boys and Girls portraits aged 14-18yrs in the layer called “Graduation gown”, so it’s not a separate file, it’s included as a layer in the portraits. Hope that helps! If you have any other questions at all, please don’t hesitate to let me know.
Maryke –
Hi Lisa, I have purchased this but need the update as I do not have the baby in stroller.
Lisa Glanz –
Hi Maryke, To access the most recent product files just re-download the zip file again from your account. Hope that answers your question. If you have any other questions at all, please don’t hesitate to let me know.
Tamara Roach (verified owner) –
Just bought this and love it already, thanks! Do you have any ‘occupation’ clothing available? Like for a fireman or nurse? Would love to have one done up like that. Also-are there any other accessories you have that will work-not necessarily with the portrait creator-but another pack that could be downloaded and added in?
Lisa Glanz –
Hi Tamara,
I don’t unfortunately have any occupation related outfits yet, but it is definitely on my list for upcoming add-ons. I do have the Baby Portrait Creator and the Pregnant Portrait Creator which I’ll include the links below:
Baby Portrait Creator
Pregnant Portrait Creator
Jamie –
Hi, will this work with Photoshop Elements? I love it! I sure hope so!
Lisa Glanz –
Hi Jamie,
I’ve been told by Element users that it works in version 18 and newer, but I can’t unfortunately confirm that.
But there are two alternatives for you! Yay!
The paid alternative is an app called Affinity Designer for Desktop: https://affinity.serif.com/en-gb/designer/desktop/ It’s a fraction of the price of Adobe Photoshop but has very similar functionality and the Adobe Photoshop version of the Portrait Creator works perfectly in that app.
The free alternative is called Photopea: https://www.photopea.com/ Again very similar to Adobe Photoshop and the Adobe Photoshop version of the Portrait Creator also works perfectly in that app.
Just a note I want to mention though, although they are really great alternatives and you can definitely create your own portraits within these apps, the original Portrait Creator was created for Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator including all the functionality and capability of those apps. I also can’t unfortunately offer any tutorials at this stage for the above mentioned apps, but a lot of the process is identical so you will still benefit from watching the comprehensive tutorial that takes you through the steps of creating your first portrait. You can view it here:
http://www.lisaglanz.com/blog/create-gorgeous-custom-portraits-seconds/
Clients using the alternatives have been very happy with the apps and the process of creating their portraits so I hope these can offer a great alternative for you! Hope that answers your question. If you have any other questions at all, please don’t hesitate to let me know.
Jen –
I had this on my wishlist through another site for a long time and finally decided to do it. I’ve had it for a couple of months now and it’s SO easy and so fun. I had a question in the beginning (user error) and Lisa was incredibly kind and patient with me to help me learn how to use it. Since then, I’ve purchased other items from her shop. The updates are phenomenal and act exactly like extension packs to a game. They blend seamlessly together, are beautiful, and easy to edit. Every time there’s a new update, I get super excited to add it to my collection! Thank you so much, Lisa, for creating such a beautiful and unique product that has helped me to grow my own business.
Lisa Glanz –
Wow Jen!! Thank you SO much for such an incredible review! I truly appreciate it. It makes me so happy to know you find the set easy to use and enjoy all the updates I make. I hope you continue to have fun creating your portraits! 🙂
Edith –
Hi Lisa I contacted the DC team and I’m waiting for an answer.
Thank you! for your quick reply and if things are not solved I would love to contact you again. Best wishes!
Edith –
Sorry Lisa to bother you again but it says in my purchases that it’s password protected? Will I receive this from the Design Cuts team? My own password for DC isn’t working. Kind regards
Lisa Glanz –
Hi Edith,
No bother at all! The great news is the update is definitely live on the Design Cuts website, so it should be available for download in your account. Unfortunately I don’t have access to any backend on the Design Cuts website so I can’t unfortunately troubleshoot the problem you are experiencing. The best would be to get in touch with the Design Cuts support team and they will assist you asap! Their email is [email protected] or hop over here https://designcuts.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/requests/new to submit a ticket. Hope that helps!
If you have any other questions at all, please don’t hesitate to let me know.
Edith –
Hello Lisa I purchased my Portrait Creator from Design Cuts and I still don’t see an update there? I love your work. I purchased all your creators. Hopefully I will be able to enjoy your huge update to this creator soon? Kind regards, Edith
Tami Freaney (verified owner) –
Hi Lisa…I am brand new to Illustrator and I am in the process of teaching myself how to use it through your Portrait Creator kit. So far I am doing ok with it, I have been googling many things trying to figure things out, such as why the “eyeballs” are greyed out on some of the layers, therefore making it unable to choose that particular item. Also, is it possible to change the ears on the dogs? I am using a PC and not a Mac, and I noticed that in the initial download on the Mac, there is a pdf Instruction manual, but for the PC it is not available. Is it possible to download the Instructions for PC separately?
Thank you!!!
Lisa Glanz –
Hi Tami,
I’m going to pop you an email to assist you with all your questions 🙂
lynneandress –
Hi Lisa, I purchased from Design Cuts and I don’t see an update there?
Lisa Glanz –
Hi Lynne,
I’m hoping they will upload the update this week, hopefully in the next day or so. The Design Cuts teams do all the product uploads themselves so it can take a little longer than the other sites. Hope that answers your question. If you have any other questions at all, please don’t hesitate to let me know.
PUPYHERNANDEZ (verified owner) –
Hello Lisa , how do I know if there is an update?
Lisa Glanz –
Hi there,
I send an email out to my subscribers to let them know that there is an update available for download. If you purchase the set from Creative Market or Design Cuts they usually send an email out when a product is updated – make sure you have a email notification ticked on in your account preferences for Creative Market.
Hope that helps! Let me know if you have any other question
mark (verified owner) –
Hi Lisa I just wondered if you had plans to add new body positions as a pose to just the standard straight leg ones? Possibly legs apart? Arms up? That sort of thing. Also if you produce a new update how does it work for customers who have already purchased the full pack? Will you be offering free updates or a fee for the add ons etc? Thanks and look forward to hearing from you 🙂
Lisa Glanz –
Hi Mark,
Thank you for your feedback and enquiry! I don’t have immediate plans to work on different poses as this would involve creating a new kit (phew!). I will however add your suggestions to my ever-growing list of requests – I try and include the most requested items in the upcoming updates.
For any updates made directly to the kit, these are free to existing customers 🙂 I am also planning on creating add-ons that can be purchased separately like occupation specific outfits among others. When a new update comes out, to access the new files, all you need to do is re-download the zip file again from your account from the marketplace you purchased it on.
Hope that answers your question. If you have any other questions at all, please don’t hesitate to let me know.
Kenya –
Hello Lisa,
Do you have a wedding creator as well that offers different variations of gowns and dresses for weddings? Thanks!
K
Lisa Glanz –
Hi Kenya,
I don’t unfortunately have more wedding dress options that aren’t already in the kit at the moment, but it’s definitely on my wishlist for possible future add-ons 🙂 If you have any other questions at all, please don’t hesitate to let me know.
Stephanie –
I LOVE this product. I recently downloaded the update but I’m unable to find the rabbits or the new christmas things!
Lisa Glanz –
So happy to hear you’re enjoying it Stephanie! If you have the latest version of the files you’ll find the bunnies in the Extras > Pets folder and the Christmas hats in the Extras > Christmas Graphics folder. If you don’t see them, then definitely re-download the files to get the latest version. Hope that helps!
doodle (verified owner) –
Download was successful. Lovely update! THANKS!
Lisa Glanz –
Yay! So happy to hear that! Thank you so much for letting me know. Hope you enjoy the Christmas hats!!
doodle (verified owner) –
THANKS so much for the free christmas update of the personalised portrait creator! The preview looks great. Unfortunately both download links haven’t worked for me so far. But I keep trying and am looking forward to playing with the christmas items and rabbits. THANK YOU & Have a very merry christmas and an awesome and healthy 2019!

I bought this back in December 2017 and just loved it! So fun playing around with it! I noticed there has been some updates to it….how do I go about getting the updates am I have to repurchase the entire set again or is there a way to just get the updates?
Lisa Glanz –
So happy to hear you are enjoying the kit! No need to repurchase, all updates made to the kit are free to existing customers. To access the most recent files, just log into your account and re-download the zip file again which you’ll find under Orders. If you have any other questions at all, please don’t hesitate to let me know.
angela.h.fan (verified owner) –
Thank you for your amazing work! It has been so fun and a really fantastic experience playing with it. I was wondering if it is possible to add the braids hairstyle for men, without the headband?
Lisa Glanz –
Hi Angela! So happy to hear you are enjoying the set. I don’t have braids at his stage, but I’ve just added it to my list! It should be available in the next update. If you have any other questions at all, please don’t hesitate to let me know.
Nina –
Hey Lisa! I love the portrait creator, it is so cute and dreamy! You’ve done a fantastic job on it. I was making a portrait for my little sister however, and we have a pet rabbit, and she asked me to ask you if you’d be expanding to add other types of pets any time soon! We’d love to have portraits with our bunny boy! Thank you endlessly. 🙂
Lisa Glanz –
Hi Nina,
I’m so happy to hear you are enjoying the set! I will definitely be expanding the animals in the set 🙂 It’s on my list of items to create, hopefully in the next update. I’m also going to pop you an email in case you miss this reply 🙂
Erin –
Hello Lisa! I am so loving this set! It is so easy and fun to work with. May I suggest adding a wheelchair and walker for our disabled friends? I have a three year old niece that uses a walker. I would love to see it added to your collection! Thank you!
Lisa Glanz –
Hi Erin,
So happy to hear you are enjoying the set! Thank you so much for your feedback!
I do have a wishlist that I add all suggestions to and a wheelchair options is definitely on the list. The biggest obstacle I face is time, I would need to recreate an entire new kit for all the age groups and genders etc. to accommodate the body position – the current kit took over a year to create so it’s a fairly time consuming exercise 🙂 But as mentioned, it is on my list and is something I would LOVE and hope to offer in the future.
The walker on the other hand is something I can definitely add sooner to the kit. It’s also on the list so hopefully in the next update I’ll include that 🙂
Maren –
LOVE THIS! Any chance there will be a pet builder in the future? Either as an update or as its own thing. We have a mutt so while some of your bodies work, none of the coloring works. Could probably make it work if I could just turn on a different sock(paw) color or add additional texture of a different color to your existing bodies. Thanks!
Robin Maryon –
HI, just downloaded this creator – it’s is amazing I might just spend the whole day playing! Can I suggest some future ideas? How about more hat styles. Also activities. Likes sports wear, horseriding gear, cycling kit that sort of thing. Also how do we hear about updates?
Lisa Glanz –
Thank you so much for your purchase, Robin. If you belong to my mailing list you’ll be notified each time a new update is available for download. I’ll also be creating add-ons like sports gear in the future 🙂 Hope you have many hours of fun creating your portraits!
Lorie Grantham –
One tiny addition request.. of the many many I am sure you get!
Please add a dog type: Border Terrier (black and tan for us!)
Thank you!
Lisa Glanz –
Hi Lorie,
Thank you for your suggestion! I’ve just added it to my growing list 🙂 I try and include the most requested items in the upcoming updates. Hope you’re enjoying creating your portraits.
Irene (verified owner) –
Hi! I purchased this before Christmas and LOVE it! I love the new dogs and angel wings that have been added recently. is there a way to purchase just an upgrade? Thanks!
Lisa Glanz –
Hi Irene, So happy to hear you love the set! All updates made to the main kit are free to existing customers, so no need to purchase the update.
To access the latest update, log into your account on my website https://www.lisaglanz.com/my-account/ and locate the Portrait Creator in your Downloads area. From there simply re-download the product files again to get the most up-to-date files.

Hi Lisa! I love this set so much, thank you for the amazing updates! I was wondering if you would consider creating a wedding add on pack with more wedding dresses, bouquets, etc?
Lisa Glanz –
So happy to hear you love the set. Yes that’s definitely a great suggestion! I am hoping to start creating add-on packs with additional outfits and that would be a great one to do. Thank you for the suggestion. Hopefully I’ll be able to start on these packs in a few months time 🙂
Caroline –
Hi Lisa! I’m excited about this purchase! Are upgrades that you come out with included in the price, or are they additional?
Lisa Glanz –
Hi Caroline, Yes, all updates I make directly to the main kit is free to existing customers. I am also hoping to create add-ons in the future which can be purchased separately. 🙂

Hi! Im a photographer and Im trying to figure out the selling of the family portraits. Can I only sell it if I pay for the $390 version? Or can I sell 500 of them on the $39 version? I love it! Its so adorable!
Lisa Glanz –
Hi there, I just created a post that should answer your questions related to selling portrait prints to your clients. You can find it here. If you still have questions pop me an email.
kmhowat (verified owner) –
Hi Lisa! I’m loving playing around with this and figuring it out. Is there a chance for some converse in the mens shoes? I’ve used layers and masking to make it work, but it’s missing some laces to do it. Ooops 🙂 Also, what are the chances of a any pitbull dogs, or german shepherds? Is it possible to change the colors of the dogs in photoshop? When I try it just gets rid of all the detail. I thought I could change the black lab to look like my brown lab/pit mix, and if there was a german shepherd maybe change the colors since he’s a yellow shepherd with black markings, rather than the typical black shepherd. I’m sure you’re swamped, but I would definitely love to see those when/if you run an update (if you haven’t made them already).
Lisa Glanz –
So happy to hear you are loving the set so far! I do plan on adding more dogs to the next update. You can adjust colours in Adobe Photoshop using the hue and saturation tool or even the curves tool.
You could also try using the selection tool or magic wand in Adobe Photoshop to select certain areas of colour and change that with the Hue and Saturation tool. Perhaps even try the brush tool to add or take away markings.
Hope that helps!
Julie –
the illustrations are beautiful! Will this work with adobe photoshop elements 2018?
Lisa Glanz –
Hi Julie, I have been told that it does work in Elements 2018, but unfortunately I cannot guarantee that or offer full support because I don’t have that software to trouble shoot issues. This set works best in either Adobe Illustrator CS3+ or Adobe Photoshop CS3+. Hope that helps!
Beth –
Hi Lisa! I am so excited to have purchased this–so fun!!
Do you have a baseball style hat included?? Everyone in my life wears them but I don’t see one….I may just be missing it, I’m blind sometimes! LOL I’m in Photoshop CS5 if that matters.
Thank you again so much!
Lisa Glanz –
Hi Beth,
Some of the man hairstyles do have a peak cap included within the hair layer – you’ll find it under the hairstyle name as the top layer. It’s a little tricky to add it as an overall accessories due to the fact the cap won’t necessarily fit over some of the hairstyles, hence why only some have that option. I am however going to add a baseball cap “hairstyle” option in the next update. Hope that answers your question.
Ildiko –
Hi Lisa,
I really like your personal creator. I have one question about the packages because it is not quiet clear for me. It is not show difference between the packages when I click on the standard and extended. Can you let me know what is included in the standard package? Also, are there any rules or policy about how to use it?
Thanks
Lisa Glanz –
Hi there,
All the items in this kit are included for both licence options. There is no difference in the product, the difference comes in how you can use the product under each licence. I have an overview of the licence terms on my website you might find useful:
https://www.lisaglanz.com/licence-overview/
And an FAQ that covers some common licence questions:
http://lisaglanz.com/faq
Hope that answers your question. If you have any other questions at all, please don’t hesitate to let me know.
Aisha Mohammed –
Lisa, I just discovered your wok today and it absolutely blew me away! I am on the verge of buying it, but I was just wondering is there any modest clothing for the lady? Just curious! Again, love your work. Hope you do more of this someday.
Lisa Glanz –
Hi Aisha,
So happy to hear you discovered my work and that you like it, I’m humbled, thank you.
There are a few outfits that have long sleeve tops and jeans. But generally the outfits show arms and some show shoulders. The maxi dresses are long in length but also show arms and shoulders. I will definitely add your request to my list – but I do in general work on items with the most requests. If you have any other questions at all, please don’t hesitate to let me know.
Jeanne –
Hi Lisa, I’m a new fan of your work!! I just purchased a couple of sets last night, I am so excited to start playing with them!! Quick question for you, are there any resources that you recommend for printing? Either particular vendors, or for example Do your designs work best printed on photo paper or more of a press printed item, etc.

Hi Jeanne,
Thank you so much for your purchases, it’s so nice to meet a new customer!! I don’t have a particular printer/vendor that I can recommend as these days most of the online printers are pretty good. I use a local printer (in South Africa, which doesn’t help you unfortunately) because it’s cheaper than ordering online. So definitely choose a printer near you if you can, that way you can get samples printed before you commit to an entire print run. Most printers do offer sample prints so take advantage of that 😉
I always prefer a matt uncoated paper, or a satin finish paper. It’s a personal preference because I think it looks more authentically illustrated on uncoated paper. You can even choose an uncoated paper that has a watercolour paper/texture finish to it, this looks particularly lovely if you’re going for a rustic, hand crafted look.
Hope that helps! Happy creating 🙂

OMG! I am so happy to buy this set from you Lisa!!! And, thanks for the license terms clarification for commercial use. I hope to see something new for clothes and acessories (if it will be possible). I will love to see something for seasons like Easter, Halloween, Xmas etc. xoxo
Lisa Glanz –
That makes me so happy that you are happy! I love your suggestions about the seasonal/holiday clothes. I do have them on my list and I hope to possibly add those in the future sometime. Enjoy creating your portraits!
Catherine Han –
I love your design Lisa. Just a quick question, what is the difference between the standard and the extended? Does all the extra things you mentioned in the list in the standard kit?
Lisa Glanz –
Thank you Catherine. All the items in the kit are available for both Standard Licence and Extended Licence holders. The main difference between the two licences are the Extended Licence you can use the kit in more than one commercial project and sell unlimited quantities. Whereas the Standard Licence has a restriction of only selling up to 500 units and using it in one commercial project only. Pop over to my Licence Overview for more info: https://www.lisaglanz.com/licence-overview/
Or feel free to email me at any stage 🙂

I am so in love with this entire set and concept. Quick question: in the latest release, are there options to have arms out to the side to hold hands? I don’t seem to see them.
Lisa Glanz –
Hi Miriam, Yay! So glad you love the set 🙂 The latest body shapes added unfortunately don’t have the additional arm options. I am hoping to include that in a future update though 🙂
Jo –
Such beautiful work!! I am having so much fun using the portrait creator! Will you be adding different face shapes anytime soon?
Lisa Glanz –
Hi Jo, So happy to hear you are loving the set!! I don’t have any plans at the moment to add different face shapes. It may not logistically be possible due to the fact all the hairstyles will need to be adjusted for each shape – we might end up with a huge number of files which could become a little overwhelming for the user. But I’ll definitely add it to my wishlist to consider for possible future updates 🙂
Michelle –
Hi! Will this work with Adobe CS2?
Lisa Glanz –
Hi Michelle,
The portrait creator requires CS3 or newer, but you will more than likely be able to open up the Adobe Photoshop version of the kit in Adobe Photoshop CS2. You won’t unfortunately be able to open the Adobe Illustrator version in Adobe Illustrator CS2.
Hope that answers your question. If you have any other questions at all, please don’t hesitate to let me know.
Mia –
Lisa, this new update is amazing. Not only the new body shapes, but the eyes, wedding dresses, babies etc! You’re a true artist and your work is a pure joy!
Lisa Glanz –
Thank you Mia! You are very kind to leave such a lovely review, thank you my friend! So happy to hear you love the new update 😉
Edith –
Dear Liza I love your work. Your creator is fabulous! I bought mine through Design Cuts. So I will update it via that account. Thanks very much! Kind regards
Lisa Glanz –
Hi Edith, So glad you like the creator! Thank you for your lovely comments 🙂 Hope you have many hours of fun with the new set!
Mary Sargent –
Hey Lisa, I’m reading the last comment and wanted to make sure that I’m reading it correctly. So the grandparents, different body shapes, summer maxi dresses and other dresses, the babies in the carriage, and the different eyes, mouth options will be available tomorrow on Creative Market? That’s where I bought mine from today.
Lisa Glanz –
Yes absolutely! All those extra goodies will be part of the update that’s free to existing customers tomorrow on Creative Market. Let me know if you have any other questions 🙂
Erin –
Lisa! I bought this set from Creative market and I’m not finding the updated add-ons, is there a way to get those separately or am I just not seeing them in the main folder?
Lisa Glanz –
Hi Erin, Sorry about the confusion, but the update will only be live on Creative Market on Tuesday next week (19th). You should receive a notification when it’s up – just make sure you have your notifications turned on on your Creative Market account. Let me know if you have any other questions!

So happy I’ve just bought it. It’s really good to see some various body types since I followed you on IG and expected to see this update real soon. You did!
Thank you for your amazing work. ^_^

This has been on my wishlist since I first saw it a few months ago. So happy I finally got to purchase it. I want to know if you have any recommendations about making the adults look older. I want to make a Family portrait for my parents (with grandkids) and wanted to differentiate the grandparents from us adult kids.
Hoping you have that add on in the future. Or would love to hear if you have any tips on making them look older.
thank you so much.
really love this!
Rachel
Lisa Glanz –
Hi Rachel,
Thank you so much for your purchase, it’s much appreciated! I am actually working on an update that will include grandparents plus a few other additions (once that’s done, I’ll be moving onto creating a fuller figure add-on 🙂 ). But in the meantime, you could use the balding hairstyle for the man and change the colour to grey. And for the woman, depending on the grand moms’ hair length, you could use the hairstyle with the bun and change the hair colour to grey, or the short cut style to grey. I am hoping to add wrinkles with the update, but still need to test that to see how it looks.
Hope that helps in the meantime!
