I’d love to convert my Procreate brushes to other apps like Adobe Photoshop and Affinity, but so far the results aren’t up to scratch unfortunately. The brush engines are very different to Procreate and I have so many nuanced little tweaks in my settings for the brushes I create in Procreate which I haven’t been able to replicate in the others apps yet. So for now unfortunately I don’t have these available as Adobe Photoshop brushes. But I’ll keep trying

Hello Lisa, I am new to Textured Canvases. I took a class using them and fell in love, however I am stumped when it comes to a few things and I would like to buy Vintage Tales but still a couple of things I don’t understand. Do I just duplicate the original texture canvas every time I start a new illustration since the textures are built into the canvas? Also, can I crop the Texture Canvas to a square to say like a 12 x 12″? I do have the latest, largest Ipad Pro. Thank you for your time and help.

Those are great questions! To use the canvases, I recommend having an original version of all the canvases in your Procreate Gallery as a stack. Each time you want to use one, make a duplicate to use for each new project. You can definitely crop the canvases into a square using the crop and resize option in Procreate. The canvases are available in two sizes, I would recommend using the larger size which is 4950px x 6300px to crop down to a square. Hope that answers your question. This is such a beautiful brush set. It allows you to create digital illustrations that don’t look digital, so you can have the best of both worlds. It has just the right variety of brushes, but also not too many, so there is no need to worry about brush overwhelm. I would also like to add that product support is excellent: Lisa went above and beyond to explain how to achieve something very specific I wanted to try.
