My favorite set of brushes that I have purchased for Procreate. I have thoroughly enjoyed playing with this brush set. The variety of textures in this set is fabulous from expressive scratchy textures to soft fuzzy ones. The attention to detail is superb with all of the tiny marks the brushes create to how the brushes are organized. It is nice to have a brush guide included and a video tutorial to get familiar with the brushes. Lisa is always there to provide additional help if needed. Another excellent set from Lisa. She continues to put her heart and soul in the brushes and other resources she offers.

Hi Sophie, Thank you so much for your lovely comments! So glad you’re enjoying the brushes! I used a watercolour paper from my Paper Box set called Chiffon. I also added a subtle speckle paper (also from the same set). I would recommend in general to use any paper that has a watercolour paper look or drawing pad paper texture, especially if your drawings a more delicate in nature.
However, I think you could also play around with rougher textured paper like a card stock which I’ve used successfully with these brushes. I’ve combined several brushes from the Paper Stock set with this brushset, even the Kraft paper, and it works very well. Hope that answers your question.
